10 Best Dressed at the Emmys

I'm going to be super honest, this past weekend was so stressful. I had an assignment for one of my online classes due on Sunday night that I started on late. I'm not joking guys, it literally took me till 3 AM on Saturday as well as the whole entire Sunday to complete it. Have you ever experienced mental health and schoolwork combined? It's not fun.

I also have a super busy week ahead of me, so I'm going to keep this post more short than the red carpet favorites blog posts that I've written in the past. I was going to write a longer blog post to explain the Emmys, but I honestly don't think it's necessary. I love celebrity red carpet fashion and it's pretty obvious when I rate my favorite outfits on a blog post that I don't even need to explain why I like them. For this week's Tuesday Ten, here are my top ten favorite looks from the Emmy's along with their designers:

1.) Jessica Biel

Friday Favorites (Week of September 4th)

Thank goodness it's finally Friday!

This week sure flew by! But of course, there was enough time to round up a few favorites of mine from the past few days and now is the perfect time to share with y'all. So before I kick off the weekend, I want to show you some finds that made this week more inspirational and happy, and I hope they are a great start to your weekend!

Favorite Saying: "What if we said, 'She is beautiful, but so am I," instead of, "She is beautiful and how do I measure up that?"

Via Instagram by Beagy Zielinski (@beagystyle)

How nice would it be if we all repeated this to ourselves on a daily basis? It's time we use this as a reminder that we are all beautiful and that beauty does not require meeting specific standards!

Favorite Fall Treat: Pumpkin Pie French Toast

Pumpkins are back in season and fresher than ever. This pumpkin flavored French toast looks so delicious and fulfilling, I can already imagine waking up and making a fresh batch for breakfast. Get the full recipe right here!

Favorite Outfit

Favorite Outfit.jpg

Look how funky and retro this outfit is, I would totally wear this! I love the color combination especially. This is something I could imagine seeing at New York Fashion Week, where I really wish I was at right now instead of working on homework for classes!

Favorite Wedding Photo

Dancing in the Woods.jpg

Celebrating a life-long marriage by dancing in a field of weeds, could this not be any more romantic? Although I suppose adding some more colorful flowers would add a nice touch.

Favorite Vlogger: Dani Austin

Not to sound like a creepy fangirl, but I really want to be her best friend! She's so adorable and has such a great taste in style. I'm determined to buy that Free People striped sweater once it goes on sale! Not only does she post great videos based on fashion and beauty but also focuses on building self-confidence, dealing with anxiety, and trusting God which I love and believe we need more people like her. Plus, she just got engaged and I could not be more happy for her!

Favorite Agenda

I just bought this for college from Target and I am IN LOVE with it, it's so organized and fierce-looking! If you want to learn more about it, click the link to my latest blog post: Handy Dandy College Supplies

Favorite Song: "Hold Me" by Fleetwood Mac

This song is sweet, calming, and a perfect simple transition from summer to fall in song style, at least if you ask me. You should be able to find it in my fall playlist on Spotify!

Favorite Quote: "The ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world are the ones that do."

Quote.jpg

I just discovered this quote recently while browsing around Pinterest and it may be my new favorite out of all the quotes that I use for inspiration. It's a reminder to those who think their dreams are bizarre that they won't change the world unless they chase their so-called bizarre dreams. Don't limit yourself, be bold and change the world the way that your imagination tells you to!

Favorite Shoes: Burgundy Velvet Block Heels

Burgundy Velvet Block Heels.jpeg

I've been obsessing over block heels lately, specifically these burgundy velvet ones from Francesca's. I feel like it would be best to buy black ones to wear to anything, but these ones stand out boldly and look so glamorous. These would be the perfect shoes to wear to a fancy party or event in the fall!

Where To Buy: Francesca's

Favorite Funny Tweet: Conversation Between a Millennial & a Boomer

Once I read the part with the avocado, I started dying of laughter and immediately had to retweet it!

Friday Favorites (Week of July 17th)

Thank goodness it's finally Friday!

This week sure flew by! But of course, there was enough time to round up a few favorites of mine from the past few days and now is the perfect time to share with y'all. So before I kick off the weekend, I want to show you some finds that made this week more inspirational and happy, and I hope they are a great start to your weekend!

Favorite Candle: "Summer Wish"

FullSizeRender.jpg

Even though it's not fall aka scented candle season yet, I'm obsessing over this summer scented candle from Yankee Candle. The candle is described on the website as " a warm breeze of soft flowers and fresh green fields that captures the sweet innocence of childhood summer days playing in the backyard."

Where To Buy: Yankee Candle

Favorite Pool Essential: Ice Cream Pool Float

You guys know how obsessed I was with my giant pink donut pool float last year, which I still have and still obsessed with. Now I'm fawning over this ice cream pool float I saw Alexys Gabrielle Johns, one of my favorite social media influencers, post on her Instagram for the Fourth of July. Look how comfy and adorable it looks, and it's pink!

Where To Buy: Kohl's

Favorite Bronzer: Cargo_HD

IMG_2581.JPG

This brownish pinkish bronze highlighter is probably my favorite item from the FabFitFun summer box, I've already used it three times! It blends so well with my skin and looks so natural and shiny after I blend it in with a little foundation powder.

Where To Buy:  Cargo HD Picture Perfect Highlighter in Bronze

Favorite Song: Big Girls Don't Cry by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons

My parents and I along with a few friends of ours saw a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons parody band last weekend at an Italian festival and I heard this song for the first time. Now I can't stop replaying it!

Favorite Movie: Wonder Woman

This might be my new favorite movie, it was amazing! Even know I'm on Team Marvel and not Team DC, I loved learning about Wonder Woman's backstory and watching her fight bad guys in a world where only men could fight. Gal Gabot is my new girl crush, she's so badass!

Friday Favorites (Week of June 19th)

Thank goodness it's finally Friday!

This week sure flew by! But of course, there was enough time to round up a few favorites of mine from the past few days and now is the perfect time to share with y'all. Favorite Summer Accessory: "Resting Beach Face" Pouch

FullSizeRender.jpg

I mean, how can one not love this pouch? It's an absolute perfect summer accessory, especially for someone like me who loves going to the beach. Plus, you can take it in public and not worry about children or very strict people being concerned about what it's referencing!

Favorite Book: Enchantment: The Life of Audrey Hepburn by Donald Spoto

The word "enchantment" is a perfect way to describe the legacy that Audrey Hepburn left before she entered heaven years ago. This book shares everything about Audrey's life and career, including becoming a fashion icon, working as a UNICEF ambassador in her last years, and the iconic movies that put her on the spotlight like Breakfast at Tiffany's and Roman Holiday. I have yet to start reading this, and I am ready to be enchanted indeed!

Where To Buy: Barnes & Noble

Favorite Shirt: "This Is Yoga" Cool Racerback

This Is Yoga Shirt.jpeg

If you're a yogi like me, you know you can't resist this super cute tank! I just bought it from lululemon very recently and I have already worn it twice. It's fitted good, it matches everything, and it simply expresses my love for yoga, even if I'm not in downward or child's pose!

Where To Buy: lululemon

Favorite Bakery: Sprinkles Cupcakes

IMG_2182.JPG

For the first time, I finally tried Sprinkles Cupcakes while visiting my sister in Chicago last weekend, and I'm in love with it so much. The cupcakes come out of a freaking ATM machine, what more could you ask for?!

Favorite Song: "Trust In You" by Lauren Daigle

This is definitely my new favorite Christian song. It's so comforting and powerful, it also is a reminder that anything good can happen when we put our trust in God. It's one of those songs I can listen to on repeat without getting tired of it, it gets even better every time. I think Lauren Daigle deserves a Grammy!

Friday Favorites (Week of June 5th)

Thank goodness it's finally Friday!

This week sure flew by! But of course, there was enough time to round up a few favorites of mine from the past few days and now is the perfect time to share with y'all. 1.) Favorite Accessory - Mermaid Off Duty Cap

Mermaid Off Duty Hat.jpg

Spending time exploring the world of humans when not swimming around in a fishtail and seashell bra while searching for treasured thingamabobs in sunken shipwrecks. Hopefully I can purchase and wear this hat for going on trips to the beach!

Where To Buy: Altar'd State

2.) Favorite Book - Hijacking the Runway by Teri Agins

If there's anything about the fashion industry that gets people's attention, it's celebrities. I took a marketing class last fall semester and learned how celebrity endorsements are a huge way of advertising a brand or company, and this book is a great example for specifically fashion. I'm enjoying reading, especially since it focuses on two of my favorite topics: fashion and celebrities!

Where To Buy: Barnes & Noble

3.) Favorite Blogger - Maddie Perry (Blonde to Bronze)

Property of BlondetoBronze.com

I came across this California beauty on Instagram and I immediately subscribed to her blog Blonde to BronzeI love her style, her traveling tips, and her love for Jesus. I highly suggest you check out her posts and subscribe!

4.) Favorite Alcoholic Beverage - My family's homemade sangria

We had some homemade sangria a few weeks ago for my family's Memorial Day weekend party and it was so good! No sangria is good without as many strawberries and raspeberries as possible, that's our secret recipe.

5.) Favorite Viral Video - James Corden's Crosswalk the Musical: Mary Poppins

Property of YouTube and The Late Late Show with James Corden

I laughed so much the first time I watched this, which I often do whenever I watch James Corden and his creative segments. I am not lying when I say that this video is practically perfect in every way

10 Best Dressed at Coachella

Did anyone go to Coachella this past weekend? Don't tell me if you did, otherwise I may shed a few tears ...

I'm just kidding, I actually don't even mind not going. Of course, it's something that I definitely want to attend someday, but this weekend was spent with my family and I could not turn that down, especially considering we we're celebrating Easter. Also some of the controversies that spark from this giant annual music festival seem insanely crazy, such as drugs and probably sex. I would never get involved in that kind of stuff, I just want to go to Coachella for the music, friendship, food, drinks, activities, celebrities, and of course, fashion!

I figured it has been a while since I last posted a Tuesday Ten, so I finally made some time during my busy schedule to write a blog about Coachella fashion. So now, I want to share my top ten picks for best dressed this past weekend!

1.) Victoria Justice

Maxi dresses and fedoras for life! This outfit is the definition and example of music festival style, especially for Coachella. Is there any better way to put it? And the scarlet red color works so well with Victoria's dark hair and olive skin tone. Also her sunglasses, hat, and blue nail polish is all on point! Once a fashion icon, forever a fashion icon.

2.) Jamie Chung

I LOVE the pineapple crop top, it's so adorable! I also really love her ripped jean shorts, yellow sandals, funky sunglasses, mini yellow purse, and oil-paper parasol. I'm not crazy about the earrings, but everything else about this outfit is super cute and perfect for a big music festival and for the upcoming summer season!

3.) Lottie Moss

I've already talked about how off the shoulder outfits are trending in my last fashion blog. This year's Coachella was populated with these kinds of tops and dresses, and Lottie Moss's version is very lovely, chic, and kind of sporty (with the sneakers). My favorite part about this outfit is the black layered wrap skirt, and I also like the black fedora and hippie John Lennon-looking frames.

4.) Olivia Culpo

There has not been one jumpsuit that I have seen and hated. This outfit is so cute and well-fitted. The striped pattern makes it so fun but not too out there or controversial unlike some of the Coachella outfits that girls wear. Her eye makeup also looks so beautiful with her bob cut, and the yellow cotton candy adds a sweet touch! Now I'm craving cotton candy ...

5.) Emma Roberts

Emma has already tried every natural hair color and has managed to pull them all off super well. First brunette, then blonde, and now ginger. She just has that pretty face and taste in style that makes it work! I also really adore this dress, it's absolutely perfect for spring and summer. The shoes and sunglasses also look super chic for a chic weekend.

6.) Selena Gomez

Selena is my current girl crush at the moment. She has such a great taste in style and is willing to try anything out, from elegant to rebellious. She can pull almost anything off, especially this cute blue and white daisy collared dress and Ash Footwear white sneakers. This is definitely an outfit that is mostly girly-girl with a little tomboy touch to it.

7.) Ashley Graham

I honestly didn't really know who Ashley Graham was until I watched her in a "73 Questions" segment for Vogue. While watching it, I fell in love with her confidence and personality, she's so cool and beautiful! And I think of all those exact qualities when I look at her fashion pictures from Coachella. I love the gold choker and gold metallic robe wrapped around the black off the shoulder dress, very much like Cleopatra!

8.) Hailee Steinfeld

The short shirt dress and knee high boots look like a modern day rock star and the matching fashion pieces look pop star! The red lipstick also looks great with the outfit's color pattern, side ponytail, and neutral eye makeup. I think this look overall is so cool and fits super well on Hailee and with her sense of style!

9.) Martha Hunt

I'm not a big fan of the see-through shirt, but I love the sequin shorts and gray/blue booties. Even though I don't like the top part that much, I think the lace white bralette that she chose to wear looks really stylish.

10.) Kendall Jenner

I have to be honest and say that I am not a fan of the Kardashians but if I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be Kendall. She definitely has the best taste in style, and she definitely proved it at the music festival this weekend with this chic outfit. Plus, she seems like the nicest and most fun to hang out with (especially since she's a member of the T-Swift Squad!)

10 Best Dressed at the Oscars

Did anyone watch the Oscars this past Sunday? Not going to lie, it might have been the craziest ceremony in entertainment history! I don't mean that Miley Cyrus performed one of her songs that involved a lot of twerking, that's a different kind of crazy. What I mean by crazy is that there was another cringe-worthy moment when they announced Best Picture. At first, the presenter Warren Beatty announced that La La Land had won the big award of the night, but it turns out that the envelope he read was actually for Emma Stone's Best Actress Award for her performance in La La Land and the Best Picture winner was actually Moonlight. Whoops! The media has been going crazy for over twenty-four hours now, it may been one of the biggest fails in entertainment history ever! To be honest, I was trying so hard not to laugh, and I think Jimmy Kimmel, the parts of the audience, and even Ryan Gosling were trying to hold back their giggles. I am imagining Steve Harvey somewhere right now smiling his pearly whites more than ever and feeling good about himself ...

Other than the awkward moment that everyone is still talking about, this year's Oscars ceremony was fantastic as always. I love seeing movie stars come together to celebrate the beauty of the cinema that takes us movie lovers into new worlds. Thankfully, there wasn't much talk political talk or controversies, although quite a few celebrities showed up with "Stand With ACLU" as a way of "protesting". Jimmy Kimmel did a really good job at hosting, especially when he let tourists come in during the ceremony and making candy, cookies, AND donuts fly down from the ceiling! I also laughed when he and Matt Damon continued their "feud", especially when Jimmy started playing the "Wrap It Up" music while Matt presented an award with Ben Affleck. It seriously believe that they actually are best friends in real, no doubt.

Of course, the one part of the Oscars that everyone looks forward to seeing is the bizarre and enchanting outfits on the red carpet, at least that's what fashionistas like me look forward to. There has been so many amazing dresses from every ceremony throughout Academy Award history, and this year may have had the most beautiful outfits yet! I think the fashion gets better as the years get older.

So in case you're wondering what my favorite outfits from this year's Oscars were, here are my top ten picks for best dressed!

1.) Karlie Kloss

Two words: Absolutely FLAWLESS! Karlie Kloss is one of my girl crushes and definitely one of the best fashion icons out there right now, so it's kind of necessary to put her as number one. The white gown with the long cape gave me snow queen vibes, and the sparkly choker adds a glamorous touch!

Designed By: Stella McCartney

2.) Felicity Jones

Normally I prefer to see longer dresses on the Oscars red carpet, but this was so pretty that I couldn't not put it on my top ten favorites list. It is definitely the perfect ballerina princess look, so magical and ravishing! I honestly would have worn this to prom or homecoming if I saw it in a store during high school.

Designed By: Dior

3.) Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy is so gorgeous that she could wear a trash bag to the red carpet and she would still rock it! I really love this white gown goddess look, kind of like Karlie Kloss's dress but with a lot more glitter and one leg showing off. I also think that her and her hubby John Legend were one of the hottest and most adorable couples last night, and also of all of Hollywood!

Designed By: Zuhair Murad

4.) Emma Stone

No doubt, one of the most gorgeous and stylish redheads out there. I love this shiny old-fashioned Hollywood look, it's kind of as if she's almost playing off of La La Land as a reference! She really did look drop-dead gorgeous, and I'm so thrilled that she finally won an Oscar that she has deserved for a long time!

Designed By: Givenchy

5.) Naomie Harris

So sexy and glamorous at the same time. Not only did I like her white pearly sequin dress but I also liked how her bright yellow heels were mismatched with the sparkly vamp on one shoe and the sparkly strap on the other, kind of rebellious! I also really liked how her hair was sleek and straight, very simple yet stunning.

Designed By: Calvin Klein

6.) Nicole Kidman

Nicole always looks both classy and daring, and that's one of the reasons why I love her taste in style. My favorite thing about this dress is the hand-embroidered lace overlay and apricot shade combined, so stunning. I also saw that the back straps can be altered, as at the beginning of the show they were strapped to both the right and left back parts each but then later on she altered them into a tie, how cool! Fashion works in mysterious yet amazing ways.

Designed By: Armani Prive

7.) Charlize Theron

Charlize always deserves the award for best dressed at every entertainment event, she never fails! I really like the green metallic material of the gown, plus her long diamond chandilier earrings look incredible with her look!

Designed By: Dior

8) Jessica Biel

Gold was so popular with fashion at this year's Oscars, which makes sense because the trophies are gold. Jessica Biel is such a beautiful human being, and no doubt did she look like a beautiful ancient queen in this glamorous gold gown. Plus, I LOVE her husband Justin Timberlake, and they are also one of the cutest celebrity couples in all of Hollywood. I mean, look at the photo below if you want proof!

Designed By: Kaufmanfranco

9.) Taraji P. Henson

I love how she is following the velvet trend from this past fall, and I still long to own something in my wardrobe made from velvet! Hidden Figures also is now one of my favorite movies of all time, I just had to put that out there.

Designed By: Alberta Ferretti

10.) Brie Larson

Brie Larson Oscars 2017.jpg

Looks like someone brought some va-va-voom back to Hollywood! Everyone knows that black goes with everything and looks glamorous no matter what. I also really like long funky flow of the skirt at the bottom, it gives a spunky vibe to the look. Everyone should also know that spunk is a great quality to have, I certainly know that!

Designed By: Oscar del la Renta

BONUS: Jennifer Aniston

This may be the sexiest dress that Jen was worn to the Oscars, maybe even to all award shows in general! She did not walk the red carpet before the snow, but presented the "In Memoriam" segment and attended the Vanity Fair after-party. She looked sexier than ever in a black sequin gown showing off some major leg. What possibly could Rachel Green wear and not pull off?!

10 Best Dressed at the Grammys

You may have noticed that I posted my last Tuesday Ten about the Golden Globes just recently, but that was only because I stupidly realized that I haven't even published it yet even though I already thought I did. Oh well, that's what I get for balancing my college and blog life. Now you can read it after reading this one!

This is actually my first Grammys red carpet top ten. I have always enjoyed watching the Grammys, but I was not as in to it as the Oscars and Golden Globes. I decided to watch it this more and honestly it might have been one of my favorites! Despite the few political remarks made during the ceremony, I thought it was put together fantastically. The performances were incredible (Adele's definitely got the waterworks running), the tribute to Prince was phenomenal, the winners' reactions and speeches were so sweet and heartwarming (especially Chance the Rapper's speech about God), and James Corden was an amazing host!

Of course, I never will hesitate to write a recap about some of my favorite outfits from the red carpet and ceremony. What is a fashion blog without reviews on celebrity fashion? Some are saying that this year's Grammys was the most craziest when it came to the fashion! So to get to the real talk, here are my top ten picks for best dressed at the Grammys!

1.) Jane Finley

For those who don't know who she is, she is a native of Northeast Ohio and currently battling with cancer. She got to partake in the Make-A-Wish Foundation and wished to go to the Grammys, and her wish was miraculously granted! I don't know her personally, but I was so happy when I found out and now I really want to be her friend and I'm praying for her! I don't have a picture of her gown, but it was black and white and just absolutely stunning. She didn't even need any makeup, she looked so beautiful! #JaneStrong

2.) Adele

I'm so excited that I can finally include Adele on a list for my favorite red carpet looks, and tonight was the perfect night to do so! The green gown went perfect with her ginger locks and the pattern/design, consisting of beads and lace. It looked so artsy and made her stand out. There may be no nomination for Best Dressed, but the award would totally go to her!

Designed By: Givenchy

3.) Carrie Underwood

Once a country princess, always a country princess! My favorite singer never fails to slay in fashion on the red carpet, and she did it once again in a red lace gown that made her look like a goddess queen! It's kind of funny actually because she somehow twinned out with Faith Hill who wore a very similar gown. Same color and same design but different fabric material.

Designed: Elie Madi

4.) Camilia Cambello

This silver embellished dress seriously makes her the belle of the ball. I really love the sparkly turtleneck collar and the sparkly floral designs located in random spots of the ballgown. The look was completed beachy hair and natural makeup. It all made her look like a princess out of a fairytale book!

Designed By: Miri Couture

5.) Lea Michele

I love crop tops, but sometimes they're a little too much for my taste in style. I think they look most fashionable and sexy with skirts, and Lea Michele looked amazing the way she pulled it off. It's almost hard to believe that she played a preppy and Broadway-obsessed high school student!

Designed By: Cavalli Couture

6.) Kelsea Ballerini

Kelsea described her dress as "feminine and kind of girly, but the bodysuit makes it edgy", and I couldn't agree more. It looks like Mother Nature walked onto the red carpet and brought spring early!

Designed By: Ines Di Santo

7.) Demi Lovato

Cleopatra vibes right here definitely, I freaking love it.

Designed By: Julien MacDonald

8.) Jennifer Lopez

If we're being honest, I think the dress would look much better without the bow around the neck, it looks a bit too much and it almost looks kind of uncomfortable! Other than that, I think the shoes and the material, design, and lavender color of the dress make J-Lo look amazing. How is she almost fifty-years old but still looks like she's in her twenties?!

Designed By: Ralph & Russo Couture (dress) and Christian Louboutin (shoes)

9.) Maren Morris

It kind of looks like she's wearing a romper with draping three-part skirt on the bottom! It was definitely an eye-catching dress, especially with the plum color that makes it pops. I am also in love with her hair, it's so long and has amazing highlights! This look is definitely perfect for a country superstar like Maren, she looks like a freaking goddess!

Designed By: Michael Costello

10.) James Corden

The host with the most! James Corden is seriously so talented, he's easily one of the best talk show hosts and performers of our generation. It is a dream on my bucket list to attend one of his shows. For real though, he did such a fantastic job hosting the Grammys this year. The opening of the ceremony was just absolutely awesome and made me laugh! I also can't write without mentioning how handsome he looked, I mean look at that shiny tuxedo! Perfectly fit for a perfect host.

10 Best Dressed at the Golden Globes

(Written on January 10th, 2017)

Did anyone watch the Golden Globes this past Sunday? I thought it was pretty amazing as usual! I loved watching Jimmy Fallon host, it was a dream come true. I think he should be the host next year and the more years to come! And maybe Tina Fey and Amy Poehler can join him one of those times, that would be LIT.

January and February aren't really my absolute favorite times of the year (due to the weather outside), but the best part about the two months is that it's awards season in Hollywood! Well to be fair, it's awards season all year round for the celebrities, but this time of year is when they give about the biggest awards at the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild, and of course we cannot forget entertainment's biggest night of the year, the Academy Awards!

Since there has already been a lot of red carpet appearances and more to come soon, I decided to start looking out on the media to see the beautiful outfits that celebrities wear so that I can write down my top favorites. Now I give you the opportunity to check out my top ten picks for best dressed at the Golden Globe Awards!

1.) Anna Kendrick

Gray is such a soothing and elegant color, and Anna Kendrick pulls it off so well. I love the sheer-layered skirt and one-shoulder strap, it absolutely made her look ravishing. I also loved her wavy curls and burgundy lipstick. She looked and always will look enchanting!

Designed By: Vionnet

2.) Hailee Steinfeld

There's nothing that I love more than when a star looks like pure royalty when walking the red carpet, and Hailee Steinfeld exactly fulfilled my desire for that tonight! I especially love the lavender color tone, it absolutely fits the design of the dress and her skin tone, and she looks even more like a princess with her beautiful hair pinned into a fancy low updo.

Designed By: Vera Wang

3.) Blake Lively

The mother of two never fails to wow the paparazzi, and tonight she absolutely slayed with her fashion sense! I also have to say that she, Ryan Reynolds, and their two daughters are the cutest family in Hollywood and possibly the entire world to exist. I just had to spit that out.

Designed By: Versace

4.) The Final Five (Three)

They started off as gold medalist and now they're the golden girls (minus two)! The three ladies looked so stunning with their voluminous hair and goddess dresses. They each deserve a Golden Globe trophy for best dressed! Plus, I love how they kind of went for the red, white, and blue look to represent America! Aly Raisman in coral red, Simone Biles in metallic gold white, and Madison Kocian in blue of course!

(Simone) Designed By: Alexis Monsanto

5.) Gina Rodriguez

How could you not fall in love with this look? Gina was definitely on the top of the list for best-dressed! I love the shimmery and pop-star vibe she pulled off, so sexy and elegant all at once!

Designed By: Naeem Khan

6.) Emma Stone

I love how she totally went for the "City of Stars" look which makes perfect sense since her movie La La Land was nominated. She definitely is a Hollywood princess! 'm even more happy that she won her first Golden Globe, and her speech was so incredible! Forever she will be one of my favorite actresses of all time.

7.) Lily Collins

What's better than a bouquet of roses? A dress covered in a dozen of roses! I'm most definitely obsessed with this fairytale-look with the pastel color and floral design. She looked magical that night no doubt. I think it's safe to say that she is definitely the modern-day Audrey Hepburn!

Designed By: Zuhair Murad

8.) Brie Larson

The perfect image of old-fashioned Hollywood glamour. Brie looked extremely lovely at last year's ceremony in her gold dress, and she looks twice as beautiful this year. Red is such a stunning color on her, both the dress and lip color make the perfect bold look. I love it, bold is beautiful!

Designed By: Rodarte

9.) Mandy Moore

I'm kind of liking the sophisticated yet dark vibe that this dress displayed, and she wears it very well. I am mostly in love with the long sheer cape on the back of the dress. Plus, her diamond teardrop earrings match the dress and hair perfectly. I also heard that this was the second dress she tried on for fitting, and I can most definitely see why she wanted this one!

Designed By: Naeem Khan

10.) Emily Ratajkowski

I'm never been a great fan of flashy dresses that reveal a little too much, but there's something about this dress that is so sexy and gorgeous. First off, I think yellow looks fabulous on her and goes well with her short brunette locks. I also admire the sparkly collar that goes down to the cutout of the dress like a suit tie. She definitely looked like a goddess and never fails to look flawless!

10 December Favorites

I'm so happy it's Christmastime, one of my favorite times of the year! However, I still can't wrap my head around the fact that this year is almost over. It just flew by so fast, it feels like Christmas from last year ended yesterday!

I'm very excited about this Christmas, especially once this semester of college ends and I can have three weeks off! I just cannot wait to go home to my family and dogs and to sit on the couch with a warm cup of hot chocolate while listening to classic Christmas tunes and watching the snow fall outside (that is if it will snow by then). December definitely is a favorite month of mine that includes some of my current favorite things in the market, whether it's something on my Christmas list, something I've already purchased, or something I still have my eye on. I hope so far you are having a wonderful December and these ten favorite things of mine might make it to your December favorites list as well!

1.) Starbucks Gingerbread Latte

Anytime of the year is great for Starbucks, but during the holiday season is perfect. I love the red cups, especially this year since they're specially designed by customers. I also love the Christmas drinks menu, and I would have to say my favorite one for this season is the gingerbread latte. At first I was unsure of how much I enjoyed it, but now I think it's such a perfect coffee for the holidays and one of my favorites of December.

Where To Buy: Starbucks

2.) Gingerbread Latte Body Scents

Gingerbread Latte.jpg

What can I say? I'm so obsessed with gingerbread latte! Bath & Body Works has created a new scent for lotion, body wash, perfumes, and hand soap that smells amazing and feels so good on the body. I currently have the hand soap for my college dorm bathroom, and it is top-notch!

Where To Buy: Bath and Body Works

3.) "Scrappy Little Nobody" by Anna Kendrick

One of the top choices on my Christmas wish list and a book that I am definitely going to read whether I receive it as a gift or not. I just love everything about Anna Kendrick, of course because everything about her is awesome. What makes her even more awesome is that she admits she's an awkward person (which we should all admire) and talks about her journey to get to where she is now, one of the biggest - and most adorable - Hollywood stars! I think it will definitely be a great read with a big boost of confidence, so thank you Anna!

Where To Buy: Barnes & Noble

4.) Espresso Scented Candle

What is a holiday season without candles?! This one may not be a specific holiday scent, but it still smells amazing. Whether you're a coffee lover or not, you will fall in love with the sweet and calming scent of this. It may also be the cheapest thing I have ever purchased from Anthropologie

Where To Buy: Anthropologie

5.) Rideau Faux-Fur Scarf

Faux Scarf.jpeg

Not as cheap as the candle, but it is still absolutely worth it and perfect for the winter season. When I got together with my family for Thanksgiving, I saw one of my cousins wearing a very similar scarf that looked super stylish, which made me want one for myself. Two days later, we went to Anthropologie for some shopping and we found a very similar scarf! I love the infinity design and the soft fur. It looks great with every outfit and is super cozy and warm when battling the bitter outdoor chills.

Where To Buy: Anthropologie

6.)  Deer Casetify iPhone 7 Case

Deer iPhone Case.jpeg

Maybe if I weren't so sassy, my spirit animal would be a deer! I really do love this phone case. I recently upgraded my phone, so now I have the 7 which meant I needed a new phone case. Anthropologie was the perfect place to go to because they have so many pretty and stiff cases. I saw the deer one and I could not turn it down, especially since there's a bearded man with his flying reindeer coming soon! I also love this case because I have a rose gold phone and the color combination is just very flattering.

Where To Buy: Anthropologie

7.) Smashbox Lip Stainer

I've already blogged about this lip product in my 10 October Favorites, but I couldn't resist blogging about it again. I'm absolutely in love with it, it's definitely my favorite lipstick at the moment. The dark burgundy color is perfect for winter and it looks beautiful with every skin tone. Plus, it dries up super fast after putting it on and it lasts for pretty much the entire day!

Where to BuySmashbox

8.) Butter London Red Nail Polish

You would be silly to think that red nail polish does not go well with the holiday season! I love Butter London nail polish, there are so many fun colors and they each have a great patent texture that dries quickly and does not chip so suddenly. Nothing makes Christmas spirit shine brighter than ruby red nails, like Rudolph's shiny red nose!

Where To Buy: Nordstrom

9.) Avocado & Oatmeal Facial Clay Mask

The bitter weather this season can be a risk factor for glowing and healthy skin, which gives us another excuse to use face masks! This is actually the first face mask product I have ever used, and I am loving it very much. I think my face has become more radiant and softer after using it. Plus, I love both avocados and oatmeal! It's important to spread the clay all over your face, and maybe even your neck if  you have time. It dries up and tightens really fast, so it's best to leave it on for 10-20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water afterwards and get a radiant result.

 Where To Buy: Ulta

10.) F**k Off, I'm Sleeping Eye Mask

I apologize for the inappropriate language, but I'm honestly kind of in love with this eye mask. It pretty much sums up how I feel when I'm trying to get some beauty sleep.

Where To Buy: Nasty Gal

10 DIY Halloween Costume Ideas

Happy Belated Halloween!

To be honest, I'm not that sad about Halloween being over for the year. It's not necessarily my favorite holiday, mainly because I don't like all the scary and gory themes. I'm more of a Christmas gal.

But I still love the holiday for using creativity with crazy and fun costumes ideas. I honestly find it more fun to dress up for Halloween now as an adult rather than when I was little! Of course, I'm not super into the too adult costumes. And I do miss trick-or-treating.

Unfortunately, one of my weaknesses is time management, which means I always end up creating a super cool costume idea at the very last minute. I already had ideas since this summer, but I've seen so many other interesting ideas on others blogs and social media, mainly Pinterest and Instagram, and totally made me wish I had thought of that sooner. But instead of worrying about running out of time like Cinderella (which happens to be a very good costume ironically), I decided to share ten of my top favorite costume ideas for anyone looking for an outfit next year or for a late Halloween party this year!

1.) Starbucks Drink

(Source)

This idea is so genius, it's "too hot" to handle!

2.) Social Media Apps

(Source)

For Facebook, carry a book and hold it next to your face! For Twitter, stick small pieces of random tweets all over your outfit (of course no more than 150 characters)! For Instagram, carry a camera and pretend to take pictures! For Snapchat, use makeup to make your face look like a filter! For Pinterest, pretend to be pinning a picture to a mini bulletin board!

3.) Netflix and Chill

(Source)

This is a perfect couple or best friend costume idea. With an oversized shirt, a pair of comfy sweatpants/leggings, and maybe a box of pizza, you should be good to go. Of course, keep it PG!

4.) Disney Parks Cast Member

Disney Cast Member.jpg

(Source)

My mom has a friend from work who knew how to make a laminated paper version of an cast member ID of Walt Disney World, and being the huge Disney fan I am, she insisted that I should have one. So her friend made one from me and now I feel like I'm officially part of the Disney family! I think this is a fantastic idea for anyone who is a Disney fan or who dreams of working at one of the parks someday. And who knows, maybe just having a fake ID will get you in the FastPass+ lines!

5.) Scarecrow

(Source)

This is an easy one outfit-wise. All you really need is a flannel, boots, and a straw hat. I especially like the makeup for this costume idea. It may be a little harder than the outfit, but it's definitely more fun to do.

6.) Snapchat Filters

(Source)

I'm so in love with this DIY costume, I think it's so clever and perfect for the latest social media trends. Now we finally have the chance to look exactly like the filters on Snapchat that make us feel pretty and goddess-like! The face shape changes and face swapping may be a little complicated ...

7.) Gumball Machine

(Source)

I love colored cotton balls, and it's a great excuse to buy them for this simple and adorable look, of course with some glue! It's cute, it's creative, what's not to love about it?

8.) Jess from New Girl

(Source)

Every female New Girl junkie dreams of having style like Jessica Day, so why not make that dream come true? All you need are glasses, tights, flats, a quirky dress, and maybe a wig if you don't have dark hair or bangs.

9.) Mary Poppins

(Source)

Because she's "practically perfect in every way"!

10.) Audrey Hepburn

10 Best Looks at the Emmys

Did anyone watch the Emmy Awards this past weekend? I watched it, for a little bit. I got to see a few of my favorite celebrities present and win, but it was mostly the following day I decided to catch up to all the buzz from the show. I don't want to spread any rumors, but it has it that quite many famed human beings managed to slay the red carpet big time!

I almost didn't write this blog for my Tuesday Ten, but then I realized all the other award show posts from earlier this year. That made me realize that I should continue these types of posts, especially for readers who enjoy reading about fashion and celebrities. So for my top ten weekly picks, here are my favorites from the Emmy Awards red carpet:

1.) Priyanka Chopra

One word: FLAWLESS! Just look at the color and the way the bottom piece twirls, it's so lovely! It seriously looks like something you would see in a beauty product commercial or magazine! It's both an elegant and playful look, and her red lipstick makes the look even more stunning. She definitely dominated the red carpet big time!

Designed by: Jason Wu

2.) Emilia Clarke

Other than scoring three golden statuettes, she totally scored the red carpet with an elegant peachy gown. She certainly proved to be a champion with her fashion sense and talents, you go girl!

Designed by: Atelier Versace

3.) Holly Taylor

You may by now know that I have a thing for white dresses, and not just because they remind me of weddings. I think it's a beautiful color, especially in dresses on the red carpet. I love the goddess look along with the sparkly neckline, shoes, and elegant updo twist. Bright and bold.

Designed by: Theia

4.) Kristen Bell

Floral designs in a ballgown? Hell yes indeed! It looks like Mother Nature arrived into Hollywood!

Designed by: Zuhair Murad

5.) Michelle Dockery

I happen to find this dress very well interesting. The fabric material looks frozen thick and manages to stay still even as she makes different poses and struts. I definitely love the black and white color combination, very classic. Michelle pulls off this fashion statement tremendously perfect, especially with her gorgeous dark hair.

Designed by: Oscar del la Rena

6.) Claire Danes

Claire Danes never fails to stun the red carpet, just like earlier this year when she wore a beautiful light-up Cinderella ballgown. And now she's going for a more Belle look with a dazzling golden gown. She literally glowed from head to toe, including her beautiful blonde locks!

Designed by: Elsa Schiaparelli

7.) Sarah Hyland

It seems as though Emma Watson's look at this year's Met Gala inspired many! It sure is a sexy and classy look, and Sarah Hyland certainly proves that with this outfit design. I also love how the light top splits into two parts and flows toward the floor, super graceful. I hope to see more looks with pants like this for more red carpet events!

Designed by: Monique Lhuillier

8.) Felicity Huffman

I love the shimmery and floral design of the gown. It looks like something Kate Middleton would wear, perfectly fit for royalty!

Designed by: Tony Ward

9.) Ellie Kemper

I just think this lady is absolutely adorable, I mean look at her! Her fiery hair matches well with the simple mustard yellow gown, along with her super down to earth attitude. What's not to love about her?!

Designed by: Jenny Packham

10.) Kerry Washington

To pull off a baby bump in a black cutout is very bold, definitely attracts the paparazzi's attention. The September cover InStyle magazine woman look marvelous and brave when entering the awards ceremony, her confidence totally adds beauty to her look. I also how well she can pull off a perm, she looks fabulous!

10 Movies Every Fashionista Should Watch

To some, fashionistas may be viewed as self-absorbed divas who flaunt around every day wearing Louboutins and mentioning the specific names of lipstick brands. Of course I have no experience in the fashion industry itself (yet), but I can tell you that it's not like that. Sure I assume that the CEOs of companies like Prada or Dior wearing very expensive clothing whenever they have to go into the office or travel. But I highly doubt that the world of fashion is full of high-class divas. I can tell you that nobody dresses like they would at work for bedtime. That would be really weird.

Thanks to the magical thing known as cinema, there are films a distribute an in-depth look into the lives behind of luxury of the fashion industry. For this week's top ten favorites, here are my picks that I recommend to any fashionsta who wants to know what happens behind the runaway.

1.) The Devil Wears Prada (2006)

As you all know, Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway are two of the many amazing actresses of our generation. Both of them combined brings ultimate movie magic. Put them in a movie about fashion, it's bound to be a hit. As wonderful as working in the fashion industry can be, it can also be cruel in equal measure. Even one small mistake can create a huge disaster. Prada is one of the world's hottest fashion brands, which is something every fashion lover understands. Though it may seem like a devastating comedy, it's very light-hearted and good to take style tips from.

2.) Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961)

Audrey Hepburn is one of the greatest fashion icons of all time and certainly is an inspiration to my life. Every movie she's been in has amazing costumes and style, especially this movie. This is the movie that made a classic black dress everything it is today, flawless! And it's a romantic comedy, so that's a bonus.

3.) Legally Blonde (2001)

Elle Woods is proof that with confidence, anything is possible. Despite having a different taste in clothing from people in the world of law, that didn't stop her from winning a case. Thanks to her previous experience as a fashion merchandising major and knowledge of cosmetics, she managed to solve a dark murder mystery. The rules of hair care are simple and finite, every girl should know that you are forbidden to shower for at least twenty-four hours after getting a perm at the risk of deactivating the ammonium thioglycolate!

4.) Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009)

While this movie has fascinating fashion and a cute storyline, it holds a very important life lesson: don't spend too much on clothes. As fashionistas, we know the struggle of wanting to buy something beautiful but trying not to get our credit cards declined or receive renewed confrontations from debt collectors. Even when you find a green scarf that looks perfect and could lead you to a successful job as a fashion journalist, you need to choose wisely whether it's the right time to buy it or not.

5.) Pretty Woman (1990)

One of the greatest 90's classics of all time. Period. I seriously have never watched this movie until my mom made me earlier this year, and now it's definitely one I would re-watch a few more times. Garry Marshall (who sadly passed away just recently) is one of my favorite film directors of movies such as The Princess Diaries 1 and 2Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, pretty much some of the best romantic comedies of all time. Pretty Woman was the first movie that launched Julia Roberts's career, and to this day she is still considered one of the most talented actresses ever. On the side note, I love the fashion in this movie. It's kind of like a modern day version of Cinderella, except with hookers and more pairs of shoes and dresses rather than just one ballgown and glass slippers.

6.) The Great Gatsby (2013)

I'm not a huge fan of this movie or Leonardo DiCaprio (please don't kill me), but the costumes in this movie are just outstanding and glamorous. To think about the time and effort to make clothes that have existed since the Roaring 20's is mind-blowing. Plus, the scenery combined with that is absolutely marvelous.

7.) Pretty in Pink (1986)

If we had to choose which decade was the most hideous and no-no-notrious, I'm pretty sure everyone would go with the 1980's. I don't think there's ever been decade with more neon mis-matched outfits and crazy hairstyles. However, I do give credit to the time period for having such a creative sense in style. I think this movie is a great example of what it was like to dress up in the 80's. The fact that Molly Ringwald's character designed her own prom dress means a lot in the fashion industry! Also, pink no doubt the best color to exist.

8.) The Intern (2015)

The same director as the 90's version of The Parent Trap, so it's definitely bound to be good. This time we see Anne Hathaway in once more another movie as a businesswoman, but now as the boss! Plus, we see a different and warm-hearted side of Robert DeNiro than the tough side fans are used to. This movie is genuinely sweet and heartwarming, which leaves you feeling good at the end. It makes working in the business of fashion seem a little more easy and fun.

9.) The House Bunny (2008)

This movie makes me wish I was in a sorority, it's so funny! This movie is great for fashion lovers because it teaches you that the best thing to wear is confidence. Shelley, the "house bunny", becomes an inspiration for some awkward Zeta girls and teaches them how to dress up and feel comfortable in their own skin, which is the type of confidence every girl needs.

10.) Funny Face (1957)

I'm going to be very honest, I have not seen this movie yet! I know, I'm a huge fan of Audrey Hepburn. But this is still on the list of films I need to watch ASAP once I find it on Netflix. As far as I have seen clips and pictures, this movie seems like a delicately perfect example of the fashion industry. It's about a fashion photographer who finds a beautiful bookshop clerk to be his model for an upcoming magazine. The bonus part, it's a musical taken place in Paris. What more could you ask for in a fashionable romantic comedy?!
