Summer Days in Milan

There’s honestly no bad time of the year to wear maxi dresses. They’re pretty much perfect for any occasion, as long as it’s appropriate for the weather and matches with whatever else you’re wearing (shoes, jewelry, etc.) Personally, I believe there’s no better time for maxi dresses than in the summertime. When the warmer weather starts coming in, one of the many things I get most excited about is bringing out and wearing all my long summer dresses. With weddings, vacays and grad parties in season, I love a good excuse to wear one of my favorite maxi dresses!

I got this beautiful boho maxi dress from Lulu’s which was on sale for only $22! This was actually the same dress I wore for my sister’s bridal shower a little over a month ago. I got a lot of compliments on it, so it’s definitely a keeper! I was going to take pictures wearing it there, but I decided to wait till Italy since I’ll have more time and more location options. I wore it for the second day in Milan, one of the world’s fashion capitals. I mean, what better location to take pictures for a fashion blog?! There wasn’t a whole lot of time to snap some OOTD shots since we were on a field trip for a class, but thankfully I managed to get a few good ones in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the most Insta-worthy spots in all of the city!

My favorite thing about the dress is the pattern. I’ve been becoming obsessed with boho style lately, and it’s starting to become a part of my fashion personality. I’m very spunky, and I like spunky outfits and designs! This dress is very boho with the mixed matched floral patterns. Not something you see to often in a dress, which is why I love it so much and am gonna wear it more often!
