About Caroline

Hey, y’all! Welcome to Sweet Caroline! My name is Caroline (as you already know), and I am a twenty-something year old girl from Northeast Ohio who runs on Jesus, coffee (especially iced), cute outfits, and big dreams. I attended Kent State University and got a Bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising with a minor in public relations. I’m hoping to pursue a career that involves both fashion and writing, two of my biggest passions! But wherever I end up, I trust that God’s plans are far bigger than mine, as His are for you as well!

Since I was eight-years old, I've always used creative writing as a way to escape reality and use my imagination. And while I do enjoy a good in-person convo, I find that I’m far more expressive when I write. Because of this passion, I decided to start a blog. I first launched Sweet Caroline at the very beginning of my freshman year in college after realizing my love for feminine, eclectic, and affordable style and desire to share it. So safe to say, I’ve been blogging for quite some time now. The majority of my posts consist of my favorite things to talk about, including faith, fashion, traveling, beauty, healthy living and finding self-confidence. Sometimes I'll even talk about dogs or donuts, depending on my mood.

For the longest time, I’ve struggled with comparison, anxiety and insecurities, especially with the rise of social media. Let’s be real, I think all of us compare and feel insecure to some extent. It’s totally normal and totally human. I think the Enemy thrives when it comes to filling our minds with negative voices and making us feel as if we’re not good enough or not worthy enough. But despite those negative voices, I choose not to let that overtake me! I 100% believe that God put each and every one of us here on Earth because He has a purpose for each and every one of us. The most amazing thing about it is that He created us all to be unique, and He has a special calling and assignment for every single one of us. How amazing is that?! God wants us to be grateful and to embrace ourselves in the lives we are living. He did not create us to compare ourselves to others or feel less than enough As a blogger, I want to use my platform and passions to inspire you to be confident in the unique image that He created you in. I pray to be a voice of authenticity, boldness and love, as well as to share the grace of God and the gift of gratitude.
